Link up and learn
There are plenty of great ways for staff and students from across the University to learn how to apply environmental sustainability in their day-to-day work with the help of our resources
We are always creating new training opportunities and materials to help staff and students promote sustainable best practice in their departments, buildings and colleges.
For staff and students
As well as signing up for our flagship programme, Green Impact, you can discover more opportunities by signing up to our monthly newsletter.
Feel free to use and share the following resources
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to join our student mailing list for monthly news, opportunities and events.
This is our flagship programme for student engagement. Green Impact provides practical ways to develop your knowledge across a broad range of environmental issues with a healthy dose of fun and competition thrown in.
It also gives students valuable training opportunities to develop communication, leadership and motivation skills as well as acquiring skills in environmental auditing.
The University’s Environmental Sustainability team offers various sustainability-focused internships. The team and Green Impact teams also make use of micro-internships and student consultancy services. You can submit an application for any of these initiatives through the Careers Service, and subscribe to our newsletter to hear about opportunities as they arise.
Research and dissertations
If you are working on a project, like a dissertation as part of your study or role at the University, we may be able to help. We could add real value to your project by sharing our knowledge and data. Please note, we cannot help with funding. If you're interested in partnering with us, get in touch via email@example.com.
