2023 Green Impact Awards announced

We wish to congratulate all the 2022-23 Green Impact teams’ achievements as were announced at the Vice-Chancellor’s Environmental Sustainability Awards on 20 June

Green Impact is a national scheme providing tangible and effective ways for staff and students to make their buildings, departments or colleges more sustainable. Actions range from changing the type of paper used to creating a biodiversity garden. These teams are accredited with either Beyond Gold, Gold, Silver or Bronze awards, based on their progress through the years.

We had 39 teams active this year, with 31 of them achieving one of the awards.

39 active teams this year, with 31 teams achieving an award. 346 staff leading teams, average team size was 9 people. Reached 6042 colleagues and students via activities and communications. Put 1399 actions in place, 930 as direct result of Green Impact.
