The Environmental Sustainability team manages Student Switch Off across the University, with the National Union of Students running it at a national level.
Thousands of students at Oxford participate each year - in fact, Oxford University has enjoyed the highest level of engagement in the country.
Did you know?
Each year more than 3,000 students support the campaign.
Competitions include photo challenges and quizzes to encourage as many students as possible to save energy, recycle and reuse. The competitions run each term and are quick and easy to take part in. They also offer the chance to win prizes for you and your college, as well as £250 cash towards your summer garden party.
There is also, however, a serious message. By establishing energy conscious habits early on, taking part has the potential to change behaviour for a life time.
